AUSTA National Conference 2015

The AUSTA National Conference offers players, students, teachers and lovers of bowed string instruments an outstanding professional development opportunity to hear distinguished speakers discuss string playing in the 21st century. The conference is a wonderful networking space for string players and teachers from around Australia to share ideas and catch up with friends.

The Conference Programme aims to bring together many of Australia’s leading performers and teachers on violin, viola, cello and double bass and combined with prominent international artists, the conference will cover aspects of all stringed instruments ranging from jazz, classical, Celtic to the latest contemporary music. An exciting array of concerts, master classes and lectures will be presented.
